This Saturday, June 14th is RODEO PARADE!

WHO: All dancers ages 5+ are welcome to dance in the parade with us....as long as they can walk/skip/dance the whole parade route. If your dancer is younger than 5 and wants to join us, they will need an adult chaperone with them and can be pushed in a stroller or pulled in a wagon. Dancing in the parade is optional of course, but we'd love to have your dancer join us!

PARADE ROUTE: Pine Street down to Cascade/Hwy 20. We dance along Cascade/Hwy 20 until we turn the corner at Adams. We will end at the First Street Park (with the splash pad and bathrooms).

TIME: Dancers can come to our meeting point between 8:45 am-9 am. Parade starts at 9:30 am.

MEETING PLACE: Adams St. between Ash and Oak St. (near the Sisters Art Works Building and the Sisters Habitat Re-Store). Pine street between Cascade and Barclay will be closed to traffic so I would recommend coming down Adams from the library end of town and parking near the Laundromat or Fir Street park. We are #48.

WHAT TO WEAR: Patriotic! Tennis shoes, Red, White & Blue! Deck your dancer out! Face paint would be fun too!

CHOREO: Our team dancers have learned a routine to Footloose, which they’ll be dancing on repeat. All other dancers will be given a red, white or blue streamer to walk/dance/skip/freestyle along the way.

CHAPERONES: I will need 4 Adult chaperones to accompany us on the parade route. These 4 chaperones will also be helping with dancer check-in and check-out at the park after the parade. Please let me know if you're up for helping with this - it will be vital to keeping track of all of our dancers!

CHECK-IN / OUT Dancers will need to be checked-in with the chaperone holding a sign that says A-F, G-L, M-R, or S-Z - and you will need to check your dancer in by their LAST name. You will write down your dancer's first and last name on our clipboard, and the cell phone number of the person picking them up at the park. You will also need to check your dancer out at the park if you dancer is age 12 or younger.

ENDING PLACE: Fir Street Splash Park. We will take a big group picture and we will have otter pops while we wait for dancers to be checked out by their guardian.
