**FAMILIES WITH MULTIPLE STUDENTS IN MULTIPLE CLASSES, Jenica can send you a printable checklist with all of your classes in one doc.

Label Eeeeveryyythiiing!!! Write your child’s name on EACH costume pieces, shoes, accessories, tights, etc and place them in a labeled garment bag. Place accessories in a labeled clear ziploc bag.

COSTUME CARE: Take special care of costumes and make sure they are free of wrinkles. Do not wash or use a traditional iron because the materials can shrink, burn, melt, or change color. Please use only a steam iron, hand held steamer, or hang in the bathroom during a shower. A commercial-grade clothes steamer will be available in the front office the weeks before rehearsal and recital, and in the auditorium during rehearsal.

TULLE SKIRTS: Grasp the waist and give a gentle shake, then use your fingers to “comb” out any pieces of tulle that are wrinkled. Store on a hanger upside down. Use a hand-held steamer or hang in the bathroom during a shower

LIPSTICK: To prevent smudging, we highly recommend covering the lip in a matte lipliner instead of lipstick. If you’d like to use lipstick, matte is preferred. Lightly dab it overtop of the liner base. Finish with translucent powder or setting spray.

HAIR: For more info and instructions, refer to the “Hair” section on the previous page. For buns, Lonnie prefers a classic ballet bun without a “donut.”

  • DRESS REHEARSAL: Saturday, Dec. 6th at Sisters High High School

    RECITAL: Saturday, Dec. 13th, only performing in the 11:00am show, Sisters High School

    MAKEUP: Optional for this age group, but does help to bring out facial features under the bright lights! Mascara, foundation to match their skin tone, blush, red lipstick.

    Pre-K Hip Hop Monday: “Santa Claus is Comin’ to Town”
    COSTUME: Santa dress, included white bow. Please provide any style of all-black pants. SHOES: all black tennis shoes. HAIR: high ponytail with white bow

    Pre-K Ballet/Tap Wednesday: “In Summer”
    COSTUME: White Tutu Dress, White Olaf Beanie, provided white tights, 3 black adhesive dots for dress. SHOES: Black Tap Shoes. HAIR: down and nicely combed or curled for under the beanie.

    Pre-K Ballet/Tap Thursday 1:30 pm:  “Song of the Heart”
    COSTUME: Penguins, hair piece. SHOES: Black Tap Shoes. HAIR: High Bun with provided feather hair piece attached on top of head  

    Pre-K Ballet/Tap Thursday 3:30 pm “Buffalo Gals/I’m Gonna Lasso Santa Claus”
    COSTUME: Cowgirl tutu skirt, white ruffle socks, red hat. SHOES: Black Tap Shoes. HAIR: Two low pony tails (we’ll see if the red cowgirl hat that is included will stay on!!)

    Pre-K Hip Hop Friday: “Charlie Brown Mash-Up”
    COSTUME (BOYS): Charlie Brown T-shirt. Please provide all black pants
    COSTUME (GIRLS): Blue Lucy Dress, white ruffle socks. Please provide shorts that won’t show under the dress. SHOES: All black tennis shoes.
    HAIR: Boys nicely combed, girls two low pony tails, parted in middle (bangs are fine!)

    COSTUME: blue dress, provided tan tights. Please provide a nude leotard. Elias: provide black dance pants and white dance shirt. SHOES: nude half soles. HAIR: Hair half up, half down and curled, with white bow. If that doesn’t work, then low slicked pony with middle part.
